Ditwah Cyclone Relief at Kandy

 As part of the relief and rehabilitation efforts for families affected by the DITWAH Cyclone, essential educational support was provided to school-going children in the affected area. Two sets of school uniforms, along with shoes, school bags, and mats, were distributed to 58 school students who were identified as cyclone victims.
The distribution aimed to support the continuation of education for the affected children and to ease the financial burden on their families during the recovery period. The total value of the relief materials distributed amounted to Rs. 3,85,625/-.
In addition, Rs. 75,000/- was incurred towards van charges for the transportation of the relief materials from the Mission to Sarasawi Gama, Kandy. The distribution activity was successfully carried out on 18th January 2026.
