Quotes from Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna

“Repeat God’s name, and sing His glories, and keep holy company. Then you will surely develop love and devotion for Him.”
“Clap your hands and the birds in the tree will fly away. So too, if you clap your hands repeating the Name of God, the birds of sin will fly away.”

Daily Worship and Celebration

Daily worship and prayer are conducted at our shrine and prayer hall. The birth anniversaries of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda are celebrated grandly every year. Major festivals such as Diwali, Navaratri, Pongal, Christmas, and Buddha Purnima, along with the birth anniversaries of great saints including Acharya Shankaracharya, Ramanuja, and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, are also observed with devotion.

Akanda Nama Japam

In our Akhanda Nama Japa, devotees from near and far participate by chanting the holy name in their homes and sending us the total number of repetitions. These offerings of devotion are then presented to Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. Each devotee’s name and the number of repetitions are lovingly recited, accompanied by flowers, as a humble tribute to the Divine. This practice not only strengthens personal spiritual discipline but also unites devotees in collective devotion, filling hearts with peace, faith, and reverence.

Satsangam

We regularly conduct Satsangam to nurture devotion, spiritual understanding, and moral growth. Devotees and children gather together to listen to sacred discourses, stories of the saints, and teachings from the scriptures. The sessions provide an opportunity to reflect on spiritual ideals, discuss the practical application of teachings in daily life, and deepen one’s connection with the Divine. Satsangam creates a serene and uplifting atmosphere, fostering unity, devotion, and the practice of virtue.

Online Scriptural Classes

We also offer online scriptural classes to deepen knowledge and understanding of the sacred texts for devotees. These interactive sessions explore the lives of saints, important scriptures, and practical spiritual teachings. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, engage in discussion, and reflect on how to incorporate these principles into daily life. The classes serve as a bridge between traditional scriptural learning and modern accessibility, helping devotees strengthen their faith, wisdom, and spiritual practice.
